vlc4iphone for Jailbroken iPhone/iPod touch only
I was trying to find out the best way to watch media files in my iphone. Finally I found one best solution.Video LAN Player widely known as VLC player is one of best Desktop Media player. VLC player is available for all Windows as well as MAC operating system. The popularity of VLC player has encouraged the VLC developers to make it available for Smartphone like iPhone and iPod touch.That is vlc4iphone v1.6.0. You can get it through Cydia in multimedia section.But it only works on Jailbroken iphone/ipod. If your iphone/ipod is not
jaibroken, you can have it done here.
The only drawback is performance of the videos of resolutions of 640×480 or greater. but you are able to be play them at decent speeds. The quality of the picture suffers however. I suggest users of vlc4iphone to use videos of 320×240 resolution if possible.
